DVD Player

Alright I didnt see this anywhere on a DIY forum or anything so I thought i would ask. if i had missed then let me know where to look. But I have an audiobahn DVD player that came factory with a cigarette adapter plug with it and I was wondering what the easiest way to hardwire it was. Can I just tap into the wire that runs into the cigarette plug right before it or do i need to do it another way?

I dont think it came with wires to wire it straight to the battery or I would have done it that way like I did my screen.

HELP!

just as long as the cigarette lighter adapter has two separate wires you have a positive and a negative and thats all you need, my power inverter came the same way, and its been working great

so you just cut off the end....split the two wires and ran them to the battery or another source?

yeah find out which one is positive and negative, and connect them straight to the battery, you should be ok, but if you want to be extra careful you should get a fuse for the positive
