How to make Amber strip on headlight white?

Did you guys ever make those white?
What tool did you guys used to make them white?
Or you just remove them and throw them away?

I know how to open headlights and stuff but I am talking about the AMBER/Orange strip.
I search and look at all the DIY headlight but none mention how to make the Amber Strip white or clear them out.

the white reflector headlights are aftermarket.

like this, minus the blackhousing?

i don't think anyone has taken apart their oem headlights just to replace the amber strip with clear. i don't know if you could buy the strip just to put in it's place, and i doubt anyone bought aftermarkets housings to rip apart just to get the strip out to put back in the oem lights.

hope this helps.

I have the clear strips, just the pieces from a pair of damaged aftermarket ones. Make me and offer at [email protected] and i'll see if i can part them out to you. Either way it's cheaper then buying the whole housing. Or I could replace them for you if you really dont want to mess with opening it up and sealing it back together.

Best Regards,
Larry

i have those lights too. love they way they look blackhoused w/o the amber strip. sweet b/c the stock blinker light is orange so it still blinks orange, but isnt obnoxious orange in your face from the outside. no regrets at all, looks good IMO
