New Ipod car kit solution from Crutchfield - $119

cheaper than the icelink or neo ion...

http://www.crutchfield.com/S-b6iPimW...0&I=581PA10HON

Any thoughts? Anyone have it?

I have a 2003 V6 coupe, so will my stock radio (non-navi) have the CD-changer input?

I saw that too, but my buddy at Best Buy said for around 20 bucks you can buy the cables to run it through the back and it'll do the same thing (he has it in his OEM headunit/six disc).

No it doesn't charge the Ipod. Ipodlounge.com has several different ways to do the install as well, my buddy just ran it through the back and it came up through the center console. I never really saw his install.

Your buddy must not have an 2003+ accord, because there isn't a way to to get into the factory stereo yet without some sort of device (either soundgate/blitzsafe/icelink) to make the stereo accept the input.

Even if you got ahold of the 14pin male connector, wired it to RCA jacks, and plugged it into the AUX port on the stereo, there needs to be some sort of emulation happening to make the stereo think the device is a CD changer.

If this isn't right someone please post another way to get sound INTO the OEM stereo so we can use our portable music players.

* Also that 2nd crutchfield link is and RCA input only if you have a certain type of Blaupunkt aftermarket headunit.
The description reads " Add an auxiliary input to your compatible Blaupunkt receiver with this optional AUXIN1R adapter."
