Lightbulb VTEC badge vs. HFP badge

Well, I pulled off the "Accord" and "V6" when I bought the car. I sort of think it looks plain now but I'm not a big fan of the OEM badges. What do you guys think?

or

It would probably be placed right below the passenger-side taillight (where the original badges are)

Like so:

Or.. I could always just leave it the way it is.

Where do you get those 'vtec' and HFP emblems from?

depends on what else you're doing to the car.
if you've got 8" exhause tips then you should just get badges in Japanese.
If it's stock and staying that way, then just leave the badges alone.
Do you have HFP parts? If not... No HFP badging for you.

leave it teh same, and add the HFP badge, right next to the v6. Keeps it pretty simple. Not too much crap on there.

And IMO, you shouldn't put the HFP badges on your car unless you have the HFP kit for your Accord.

adhesive spray remover is what i use. only took like a min to take off with all the excess glue. and also prefer the vtec badging. the accord v6 are to common. and the no badging looks to plain

it would be the equivalent of a coupe inspire if such thing existed

putting vtec on would just be too corny imo, its just one step away from putting a "powered by honda" banner across the front windshield. but if u like, go for it!

lol Don't put a 'VTEC' badge on because it's not a Prelude? But put an 'Inspire' badge on because it's an 'Accord'? I mean, at least it has a VTEC engine.

Well, if I decided to go with the HFP badge, it would be because I had the HFP kit. So far I have the HFP wheels and I definitely plan on the kit later on.

lol what honda doesnt have a vtec engine nowaday? the only one that doesnt come with a vtec or "i vtec" is the base civic. i donno, "vtec" badge seems too cliche for me. but if u like it, go for it.
ill prolly get an inspire badge later on...of course right after i get the inspire headlights to match in the summer

i had the inspire badge on for awhile on mine, even though its not the inspire, but it looked ok, and not cluttered, but after awhile it bugged me having it on there when it has no inspire parts on it! So i took it off. But now looking at it i agree with 7thgenvillian, now it looks too empty

I have the HFP rims/tires/shocks/springs, so I bought the badge to go along with it. I bought the Inspire headlights and side view mirrors, so I also bought the Inspire badge. I'll remove the Accord badge on my 4cyl sedan and put Inspire in it's place and HFP where the V6 goes.

I voted no badges. That's what I prefer. I suggest doing what YOU want, not what anyone else says. It's your car...make the kind of statement you want!

Now theres a good point, i agree, who gives a sh1t what emblem is on there? Does it really come down to this: "I have inspire headlights so gotta put inspire badging, and HFP kit, so gotta add that, and its VTEC so gotta add that too, and its and accord v6 so keep that," pretty soon the paint on the rear is going to fade from all the damn emblem swapping! Even though its plain now, i took everything off and shows nothing at all so no one will give me any crap. But its your car, your call!

I decided to leave it blank for now. wj4 has a point about the VTEC badge. Even Civics and Odysseys have VTEC engines nowadays. The Inspire badge wasn't even an option. Maybe if I had a sedan fully-converted to an Inspire, but I have a coupe and it has pretty much nothing to do with it. I have the HFP wheels now, so when I lower the car and add the HFP kit, I'll consider the HFP badge. But, for now, I'll leave it blank.

Thanks for the input guys!

I used dental floss and goo-gone. If it is hot out you can probably just pull them off with your fingers, but I used the floss to keep the Accord one in one piece.

As for badges I took both the Accord and the V6 off, looks clean and not everyone recognizes it as an Accord coupe when you don't have them.

If your coupe is red like that bottom pic I would probably leave them stock because the red V6 looks dope on a red Accord.

I vote no for Inspire and HFP if you feel like it, whether or not you have any HFP parts, sort of a Honda pride badge.

V-tec is in everything, even Toyota has their own version, so no V-tec badge.

That's ridiculous. Just seeing or saying "Honda VTEC" and "Hyundai DTEC" together is like

when i got rear ended i asked them to take off the accord badge and give it to me later so i could maybe put it on somewhere in the interior....i didnt wanna let the badge go to waste so i stuck it on here =) ....kinda tacky but it looks cool cuz its right above the "push" thing they have on there...it matches so i said wat the hell and glued it on
