Blackhousing headlights: Amber or Clear?

I'm stuck on whether to get the blackhousing headlights with the amber reflector or the Euro-style clear reflector. I have a black coupe.

Pics for reference:

If you have either of these, would you mind posting pics?

i'm torn.

the clear looks cheaper to me. thr amber looks stock, but not.

i guess it depends on the color of your car.

just find pics of people who have either of them and make the decision for yourself. but i am thinking that the amber gives it a little something the clear lacks.

i'd go with the amber blackhousings on a black car.

There should be a 3rd option.
Paint the Strip BLACK.....which is what I am doing right now.
Since I have a black car...I would prefer black.
When I am done...I will take some pictures.

Well hmm.. this is a tough question, it relaly depends on the owner. I've done headlight ocnversion on both and have had an amber and a clear one on the car. THe one that relaly looks ghetto is when I se ethem taken out all together and it leaves an empty area. If you want less legal trouble I suggest the amber, the clear might look cleaner but it look sa little cheap but then yea.. it's really your own opinion to what you like better.

For one of my cilents now, i'm actually gong to take the reflective piece out, and fill it in and mold it so it looks like it never existed, wonder how that's gonna look like, i think it'll look real clean heh.

Amber, it looks nice on a black coupe. I think that clear strip makes the headlights look cheap.

Well, I photoshopped 00&03Accords' 7th gen with a clear strip and I have to say I like the amber more. I have to agree, the clear strip looks sort of cheap on a black car and make it look bland (it needs some color).

vs.

But on a red coupe, for example, I would say clear is the way to go. It doesn't need another color to contrast. White looks better on red than orange.

i like clear for almost all colors ive seen (i have clear strip on blue 7gen) but i almost like the amber better on black car. "legal" wise, it depends on the state you live in, and either way its just a reflector, the bulb inside is still orange so your blinker is not affected at all. i like clear (esp on my blue) but think that either is a win/win situation on a black car

that photoshop actually makes them look ok, but if you look at them on the red car, they are totally white. they look smoked on the p/s black car. smoked would be sick, but doesn't exist, unless you bought the clear lights and ripped them apart to smoke, defeats the purpose or buying them already done.

go for the amber, or buy the clear and smoke them, but if you get the clear ones for your black car you can no longer be my friend. seriously. icky.

but enough about what we like, which do you think looks better now seeing them in action?
