kptechnology windows up module

I contacted KP Technologies, and here is what they had to say about autolocks:

Rick,

KPtechnologies is currently developing an auto lock/unlock modules that
is designed to be universal. The product is developed and is in the
testing phase and should be tested on a Honda in the very near future.
The auto lock module is scheduled to be around $39.99.

Thank you,

Kevin Pierson

Subject: Re: autolock on Hondas

Thank you for your quick response. I am very interested in finding a
module that will give me autolocks on my Accord. From what you have
said,
it looks like there isn't one to find. Maybe Honda will add
autolocks
next year and I can scavenge the parts that are different.

KP Technologies currently sells a module for the Accord that puts the windows up if you hit the Lock button twice on the remote. It is $60.

Yeah I got in at the last minute too.
60 was a little steep for it. I was probably gonna pass entirely. But at 40 I couldn't resist.
Install... we shall see. Supposedly the included instructions from KP are pretty good. But I can see where this thing could end up being an 8 hour project if they aren't real clear.

hey if anyone got in and lives around the central jersey area wanna meet up and install these things, i got 3 garages we can work in and a pretty big driveway to fit a bunch of more cars... it can be like a mini meet/install session...

everyone's welcome but i highly doubt it'll amount to anything more than me working on it myself spending 5 hours on a saturday afternoon! lol

lemme know!

go to the groupbuy link on the gen7accord.net forum and contact KP directly...from all the emails that people have posted wirting to him and his replies...i think he seems like a guy that would honor that price to you still..

i know the group buy ended on monday, yesterday at 12noon ohio time, but im going out on a limb by saying HE MIGHT still honor it..

i know i would! lemme know if he hooks you up!!

on a related topic...i wonder if the auto lock feature will be able to be added on to the system with the window up modulator...when KP tests it i hope they test it with the window up modulator, cuz it would be pretty luxurious to have both features..

i still find it annoying how honda jips out on simple amenties like windows up from key and autolock and all windows one touch down..i know its not a lexus or bimmer, but having lexus and bimmer as past vehicles you don't realise how used to you get with these simple options..

anyways can't wait for window up modulator! good luck on getting that price buddy!

habib!
