Leather seat swap

Has anybody swapped there cloth seats with leather( OEM leather)? I'm wondering if it is possible to wire up the electric seat adjuster by running a pos and neg wire? Also, I think ALL the OEM leather seats have the side airbag?maybe?

you planning on swapping out all the seats and inserts in the doors, or just the fronts?

don't do it....I have the leather and am wanting to go from leather to cloth...the leather honda uses is CRAP...my car is going to the dealership to have my seats recovered because they are cracking after less than a year....so I wouldn't waste your money...have them custom done if you want and do suede or something but id avoid the Honda Leather like the plague

I have an LX that did'nt come with the side airbag so I would'nt even hook them up. Im just wondering how to wire the power seat option since my stock cloths are all manual...

has anyone had their cloth seat reskinned?

don't know if it's worth it in the first place, or just to swap the interior or get racing seats.

isn't the only difference with the ex and airbags is they have them in the pillars?

my cloth seats were starting to fade real bad so i got leather instead... from experience, these seats are GREAT! you won't regret it... way better quality than OEM... i don't see why anyone would re-wrap their seats in OEM leather, especially honda's...

Did you install yourself? If not what as the labor charge on top of the $800 or so for the leather kit?

i had the cloth to leather conversion done last december. i was lucky though and had it done at cost (friend of mines who owed me a favor). the leather came out to about 400-500 bucks. i have some pics of the before and after somwhere on this comp, so ill post them up later today when i get back home from work. the process took a few days but it was worth it. on a side note, i noticed that my seats, although i dont have the heated seat option, came with these horizontal electrical strips that look like seat heaters, anyone else seen this?

i took it to a local shop that backed up their work with a lifetime warranty for only $175....

but yea, for the people that have OEM leather already on their ride, if their still under warranty and they wanna re-wrap it in new OEM leather it's fine... but if you have cloth, you might as well upgrade to a better quality leather... you can ask TELELE, he's got it also... and HABIB is the one selling the kits on here for cheap... so PM those guys and hope everything works out for you...
