Slick. How much does an adapter module like that go for? Tell us a bit about the process!

My only suggestion is to try to patch up that ghastly opening that you had to dremel out to make the unit fit. Other than that, neat mod.

thanks for the opinions guys. i want to ask though, how would i patch that up? Do you guys know of any ideas? i bought dom's unit, u could get this unit from the tsx forum for $125. then i had to buy a modulator for the sound. i bought a little more than an ordinary one cuz mine sends the sound wirelessly and the part was $50 dollars. then i had to buy the dvd player with built in tv tuner. that was $179. when you buy the unit from Dom he sends you the instructions to see which wires you need to hookup. i bought the regular module, but he now sells a plug and play module which means no cutting of the wires. at the time i bought mine, it was a hundred dollars more for the plug and play so i just went with splicing the wires. there are four navigation wires that you need to splice into. thats it. you could either do it in the navigation player in the trunk, or you could do it behind the navigation unit in the front. i would prefer the trunk its easy to get to the wires. let me know if you have further questions or opinions.

Sorry, but why do you need the modulator? I don't see why you don't just run wires, unless you're using XM or a icelink/soundgate adapter.

Does the AV switch just let the screen switch between different video inputs?
