fog light alternative

first off i should introduce myself.......... i'm ryan. new to the sight and love it. great info! i've been looking for a fog light other than the honda factory option. it just did nothing for me. figured out that the 06 sonata housing was the same as the accord coupe. install was easy with little mod neaded. will post pics as soon as i figure out how.

I wonder what that would look like. If you need to post photos, you can go to

register for a free account.

upload the photos and the rest is self explanatory.

Wow that actually looks pretty sweet. Do you have any close-up shots? I might consider doing this if it's not too much trouble. Also which parts did you get off the the Sonata?

just the light housing and the you have to cut the existing plastic caps. removing the front bumper is easy enough with a few clips. took about 2 1/2 hours. but now that i know how should take one.

Hi Ryan,
Welcome to V6P. Seeing another silver coupe join v6P brings a smile to my face
this mod is interesting. i think ur the only one who has even thought of using the sonata housing. we need more pioneers like u
anyway closer shots would be helpful i'd like to see how the fitament is up close, and a night shot with the lights on. looks like the light output would be outward rather than forward? maybe it's just me.

it doesn't look like it will fit 03-05 sedan. the 06 sedan has the coupe style fogs so it may fit the 03-05 coupe.

What is the thread link, i cant find it, I would also be interested if it works, or if this with the sonota works.........would love the jdm parts but dont look like anyone has any hookups and some are unsure if they would fit the 06 sedans.

I have CL fogs sitting in the garage and I am pretty sure they won't fit the 06 sedan. I don't think I will try to put them in because the 06 coupe front lip gets in the way. Measurements will come in a few days.

Hey Punisher, sorry to get off topic everyone, but how hard is it to install the S2000 tips? I would have PM'ed you but it says you don't accept personal messages so this is my only option. I am trying to find new tips for my 03' Coupe but I have no clue as to how they would be installed. How hard was it to take off the stock ones, and how do the S2000 ones go on. Is it a bolt on?

If anyone else can help please PM me, thanks.
