NAV Ipod Install Question

I got navi and I took everything apart.

I read the DIY http://www.beaufordbuddy.com/ipod_install_5.htm

but I can't seem to find the plug since I got NAVI. Anyone here w/ navi got a DIY or know how to reach the plug? I'm gonna unplug my XM and just use the USA Spec.

Thanks

i been aware it works

i'm wondering how others have accessed the XM plug... cuz I can't seem to reach/see/find it w/ my eyes.

Do I need to pull out navi? or perhaps is there some secret techique used to reach the plugs that i'm not aware of?

I have an 2004 w/Navi and you have to remove the radio to get the XM plug for your IPod.

I had the same question too because I think the non-Navi cars the XM connector is under the big center box (you have to remove that box to get to it), but the Navi units are not as easy

You can use this link to see how to remove the parts on the car:

http://handaaccessories.com/accord/03-dvdwmoon.pdf

Basically once you get the center counsil and glove bax area apart there are 2 bolts under the radio that come out and you need to pop off/up the top vents and there are 3 screws on the of the radio that need to come out...then it should come out.....

Hope this helps

thanks a bunch I'll attempt this monday

MY LAST MOD. I am done.

Also, did u have to pull whole navi out? or just enough to unplug?

I'm really lazy. I pulled everything out except navi at 1st. I didn't even remove my shift knob or anything lol. I left everything plugged in.
