Trunk Interior Light
Coupe & Sedan – 168 (5W) (3CP)

Industry standard bulb numbers are given.

Additional information such as color, aliases, W (watts) or CP (candlepower) is provided when known.

***Needs Confirmation*** MEANS __ I believe the bulb listed is correct, but it really needs a confirmation. If a coupe owner will actually confirm the info, I will update the list. Please, no assumptions, guesses, or “should-be-the-same-as”s.

Regarding 168 vs. 194 interchangeability…….They are not the same bulb. They are the same physical size and fit in the same holder, but they are not the same bulb. A lot of people use them interchangeably, but they really are different bulbs. (Think about standard household bulbs.... the 40 watt and 100 watt fit the same holder, and are the same physical size, yet they are different bulbs. Same principle here.)
The 168 is a .35 amp, 4.9 watt, 3.0 scp (spherical candle power) bulb.
The 194 is a .27 amp, 3.8 watt, 2.0 scp bulb.
In other words, the 168 is a 29% to 50% brighter/more powerful bulb (depending on what spec you're comparing).

Mods - I feel my first sticky coming on. Am I worthy of stickyness?

C'mon, sticky this quick!!!!! We don't want it to drop off the first page in a year or two with all the posts here.

j/k, great post! It really should be a sticky, just in case this sub-forum gets crowded.

I hear ya. The owner's manual is about useless concerning bulb data.

I want to buy yellow H11's bulbs to replace the stock bulbs in my OEM fog lights (04 coupe)...anyone have experience with this ??? I've searched and haven't come across a thread that addresses bulb replacement in the stock fogs...any help would be greatly appreciated!! Buying two bulbs for $10 is a helluva lot cheaper than buying the yellow fog after market replacements on ebay...plus i already have the stock wiring and switch.

I think most people here use the nokya h11 bulbs, some use piaa, etc... try searching in the show mods section, you'll have better luck there
