Tuning ?s

Wonder if you guys can give some input on this tuning issue. I have the Apexi AFC NEO already. Wanted to hook it up, but looks complicated for a DIY. Somebody told me buying a boomslang harness would help w/the install. I have see it online for like $150. My mods are intake, exhaust, j-pipe, and underdrive pulley. Cental FL Turbo quoted me $295 for install of the AFC NEO(I have to pay boomslang out of my own pocket) and tuning it on the dyno. Is this a fair price? I heard installing the AFC NEO w/the boomslang harness is quite easy. Please help!

Boomslang harness is plug and play so if you buy a boomslang harness, you won't need to pay the 295 installation. You will only need to pay for tuning.

Thanks nighthawk for the input. So, if the boomslang is plug n play, where does it plug into? I'm thinking the install instructions would come with the boomslang harness, right? Anyways, how much you think a typical tune should go far?

tunes around here go for 150 first hour, 85-100 every additional hour after depending on the set up you have. as for the boomslang, unplug your ecu wires, plug the boomslang into the ecu, plug your ecu wires into the female plugs on the boomslang, it will have the apexi harness incorporated into it so you will simply plug it into the apexi.

Thanks capnff for the quick response. If it's that easy as you say to plug in, then I'm installing it myself, and hopefully get a good tune price from Central FL Turbo(CFT).

I'll let you(AccordingToSean) know if I get it tuned at CFT, that's if they give me a good tune price. The only other place I know of here is Titan Motorsports. Guess I got to do some research. I'll keep you posted.
