Dual E-manage!!

i have this crazy idea!!
since the ultimate has better pull at high rpm but no timing,
and blue has timing but no pull at high rpm.

why not combine them together???

then everything will works!!!!!

i thought cheiu already got it wired for you and you got it tuned today didnt he go to churches with you?? lol i dont get it =/

anyways, ya its hard to believe, but you can combine the 2 units together. cheiu (cc auto) is a genius when it comes to hardwiring and electrical.

wow now i'm way confused now. so did he just wire power to both ecus, wire up ignition timing only on the blue, and wire up fuel, air and the rest of the stuff on the ultimate? i've seen car with multiple managements but not blue and ultimate cause ultimate is suppose to beable to do what blue does, and more. usually its a combo of Apex'i vafc/neo and something else. dam you peter can't wait to see the sheets, post all three sheets

the ultimate can only adjust a/f, thats it. something about the way it adjust timing is not compatible with our cars. basically cheiu spliced the blue into the ultimate unit, so peters able to adjust a/f (the right way now) and control ignition, vtec, with the blue unit.

yes its silly and expensive to run both units, but it seems to be the ticket right now. i already have both units with the PnP harnesses, so what the hell, i might as well do it too .

the blue does not have input/output for injectors, like the ultimate, so its limited in the top end. what happened was my ecu goes into a safe mode the blue unit cant control and starts dumping fuel between 6000rpm to 6300rpm, then lean back out to redline. this caused a rollercoaster effect in my hp numbers.

since i was able to adjust timing, the blue unit made me 321hp @ 6000rpm , took a dive to 301hp @ 6300 then jumped back up and finished @ 325hp. the ultimate with just a/f has a flat hp curve which gave me 308 hp @ 6000rpm and finished @ 328 hp. if shawn was able to flatten out that curve with the blue, he thinks i can get 340-345hp @ only 4psi. this will solve all my tuning problems

good stuff peter.

YOU MEAN YOU DONT KNOW

I kid

Allows proper control of something that is necessary (more fuel) to prevent the SCed 7th gens from leaning out too much at high end.

Sean got some credit too!!
cuz i saw his post in acurazin.net about how blue got same hp @ 6000 rpm compare with ultimate @ 6800. but the bule will drop hp @ 6300 then go back up @ 6800.
and ultimate will just keep hp going up without dropping down. but no timing!!

so thats how i had this crazy idea about using blue + ultimate so i had the bule timing and ultimate hp going up without droping. and after i talk to chieu @ C & C he said he can make it works! so why not? so i purchased the blue & harness. he spent more than a day to figure all the wires to connect ECU to both blue and ultimate and it works!! my car start!!!

thats exactly what im thinking...lol wire power and ignition to blue and rest in ultimate! and i talked to chieu and he said it will works so i decided to try it. and this is funny cuz when i took my car to shawn church, he was like "WOW, THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I SEE SOMEONE USING BOTH E-MANAGE AT THE SAME TIME". but the project arent easy cuz since im the first one and no one try it before, Chieu spent LOTS of time in this to figure all the wire and made it works. especailly he had to switch wires from 06 TL ECU to matches 05 TL ECU, then switch from 05 TL ECU to match my Accord wries plug because of my paddle shift function.

the plan was spending 3~7 days to finish all the mod. but it end up 12 days!!!!!! see how hard it is to do all this wires thing and shift control...

Chieu, you are electrical genius!!!!!
