Need a better Battery.

I work security, sitting in my car all night long. I usually have the key in the ACC position, and I have my laptop hooked up to my speakers. Well I've noticed my battery has been getting ****tier and ****tier, and last night it finally **** out on my for good. It use to last 3-4 hours before It would hard crank, but last night after only an hour it was completely dead, I couldn't even jump it with another car (had ****ty cables) I had to call a Tow truck out to jump her it was so dead.

So anyone have an suggestion as to which battery I should look at and why? And does anyone think daisy chaining another battery up would be a good idea? Yes I could let her Idle all night long, but im trying to save gas =) Any other suggestions would be great too!

You're lucky I used to work security and had to sit a hard chair all night. You could go to a sound shop and have them wire up a second battery and a ignition isolator. I would just try the deep cycle battery first.

no. i relocated it originally to make room for piping of a FMIC and i wanted a regular size battery. plus, it gives me better weight distribution too . any time you can take weight off the front end and put it to the rear, will help out. the comptech kit calls for a smaller M51 battery thats placed right beneath the blower. which means if it needed to be changed, i would have to remove the blower everytime.

the optima weighs a ton

I would consider doing the relocate, but now I have so many things attached to it.

Optima feels like a battery to me, you must be use to some light-weight ones or something.
