05 accord sedan v6 exhaust

I am looking to put on a cat back exhaust system on my car but not sure what kind to go with. I dont want it to be too loud but still have some presence. I was looking at borla and magnaflow. I searched on forums and everyone liked magnaflow and borla but not sure how it would look. I have a kn typhoon intake as well as getting j pipe put on today. Also what kind of exhaust would look best on my car? I really like the exhaust for the 03-05 accord coupe from magnaflow better than the sedan version but will that fit my car? Thanks so much

I purchased the magnaflow cat-back exhaust about 3+ years ago and I love it. In fact they sent me the Sedan cat-back instead of the coupes for some reason and it fit perfectly. I just cut off the down turn sedan tips and welded on my stock tips from my stock exhaust.I would assume the coupe exhaust would fit your sedan then since I had no problem with the sedan exhaust on my coupe.

Thanks but would the exhaust sit too low on my car since there are no cut outs for it? Thanks again so much.

I am thinking of putting a magnaflow or borla exhaust on my car but not sure if I would gain a noticable difference. I have a intake and J pipe on my car. My car is a auto v6. Thanks

There is a nice gain in the mid-high range of the power band. Response from the throttle has seemed to sharpen a bit. I pull on my friend who just has a SRI on his 03 AV6 Auto. I believe there its worth it.

Is one exhaust better than the other? I'm thinking of the Magnaflow or the Borla. Any suggestions, or dyno read outs you could post would be great. Thanks

They are both similar. Both are high quality. I don't know exactly what kind of gains borla offers but the magnaflow gives 6whp and 5wtq according to magnaflows website for a 2006 AV6 5AT

Will the magnaflow exhaust for the 03-05 v6 coupe fit my 05 sedan v6? So there is no real difference over magnaflow and borla?

THANKS-

It should fit with no problem. The only issue you might have is the exhaust tips fitting under your bumper since you have no cutouts. You might have to make adjustments.

No real performance gap between the two. They might sound slightly different.

I can get the borla for around $630 ish shiped and magnaflow around $495 shiped which would you guys go with I have an 05 V6 sedan auto with intake and j-pipe. Borla claims 12 hp and magnaflow claims 5 hp. Is this true? What would you guys go with?

Go with the exhaust that you think looks the best for your ride. I love my magnaflow and would bet the borla is just as good.

I don't think any exhaust is going to provide a 12WHP gain for the auto AV6. With a J-pipe and exhaust that would be around 12whp or so. Most will give 5-7whp for our cars. Magnaflow claims 6HP and 5TQ. That sounds about right.
