I bought the (Red EBC pads) but for both the Rear & Front. They cost me about 120$ with S/H. I recommend them.

is it ok to just replace front pads and rotors with ceramic pads and slotted rotors while letting the rears stay oem until they wear out?

Who said OEM sucks? Well compared to after market they don't bite as much. However IMO, Semi-Metallic is best unless you are really into motor sports and need ceramic.

PBR/AXISS MM is good to me.

agreed... I actually used the duralast.... cheap, and easy to get. Never really noticed in decrease in performance from stock... not bad for daily driving

I agree with others on the Hawk HPS pads. I have cross-drilled/slotted rotors and Hawk pads all around. Def increased braking power tremendously. The sound is not annoying and not that much dust. I heard ceramics don't stop as well as the Hawks. Paid $140 for front/rear pads. Try looking on Ultrarev.com.
