Should be beastly. I have the V2, Magnaflows and J pipe, and I could feel the difference after the ECU adjusted for every mod done. Car is beastly, sounds awesome, and I'm going to the track in a couple hours to get results and see how much my stock trap speed of 95 mph is improved on

BTW does the test pipe make your exhaust smell like ass? I have the test pipe in waiting, but if that's the case I might just sell it lol.

If by what else? you mean what other simple bolt-on mods can you do, you can do the lightweight/underdrive pulley(s) and the hyper grounding kit, which should run you less than the Borla together and give you a nice noticeable improvement in acceleration.

Synthetic fluids, GM Synchromesh (if you are 6 SPD), suspension work maybe?

If you want a suspension upgrade, get the tl-s sway bars (to quote paul, what good is power without control). If its more power you are looking for, get the UR pulley. Currently, you definitly have more air coming in the engine and out. Search this site for the UR Pulley, you'll get some mixed info, but I've had the underdrive pulley for 2 yrs now, no problem. Some minor things: It was suggested to you, and I agree, to switch to synthetic oil and pump premium. Good luck and enjoy.

I have a test pipe and get absolutely no exhaust smell whatsoever so you'll be fine. You'll definitely love the new deeper sound you'll get from your exhaust, too. I know I love mine!

I've never looked into buying one, but I'm pretty sure HKS and Apexi make them. They might be universal, I don't know if they make them just for our cars. Here is a groupbuy here on v6p for them: http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...ad.php?t=70572

Actually when I first installed my j-pipe and test pipe I was on the stock exhaust too and I did not notice a smell. Soon as I got my WS2 installed is when I smelled it. Figured it was the test pipe causing the smell.

But like I said, it went away after a week or so.

I had a shop install my j-pipe and megan test pipe a few days ago. It smelled for a few hours - but I figured it was the sealant the guys used to install it. There is no smell whatsoever now.

$100 cash. Dude told me there's a $10,000 fine for taking off the stock cat (In CA) and I went for it. It's been sitting in my garage since May.

Probably over payed, but oh well. I won't have to take it off to get my car smogged for another 5 years.

i don't think you over payed at all. sure its not a complicated work but still a bit time consuming. i doubt any mechanic will put your car up their lift and work on it for almost an hour just to make 50 bux or something.
