King Motorsports Throttle body Bore

Haven’t seen any real discussion on performance gains on this. Is it worth the cost? They also said they would do my IM for $100.00extra bucks.

There's been folks that have sent theres out to maxbore but I dont think the gains justify the cost especially if you havent really invested in other engine mods. Are you talkin about gettin your Accord IM done or the TSX? If you do go through with this I would suggest buying the TSX IM and get that one bored.

That does sound expensive. Maxbore does TB's for $100 but you'll have to check to see if he does J series.

My thought was that if I could get gains like I did from my AEM V2 then I would be happy being out of pocket that much.

The gains in the AEM V2 come from the loss in restriction across the powerband. With a wider TB you may gain some power at the top end but lose power on the lower end due to lower intake mixture velocity/swirling.

J-Series and new I4 tbs with throttle by wire systems and a PITA to disassemble and reassemble properly, that would be one reason for the cost.
