V6 intake manifold questions

I just have a simple question nd sorry for not searching i am at work and cant really get caught online.
I want to port my stock manifold so i was looking at trying to find one. However, before i do port mine out is there anything bigger that bolts on? maybe from a Different V6 honda?
I have a 4 door v6 3.0 06 accord. 6 speed

i did some research and the 3.5 engines have the same bolt pattern to the plenum runners...the only part i am not sure of is if the 3.5 manifold will be to tall and hit the hood..this is one of my future mods as i have a 03 6 speed..hope that helps, if someone has tried this is stand corrected

the 3.5 manifold is the same height as the cls manifold and yes it may slightly rub the hood. im not totally sure that it will on a 7th gen for sure im sure paul NVA-AV6 will know.

maybe you should find someone with that car and just measure and compare with your hood up to check height and clearance. I think that would help and also to compare intake manifold gaskets to make sure they would line up right.

i believe the manifold gaskets do line up properly

Accord 2003 3.0 v6 6 speed Manifold gasket

Part# -- 17105 RCA A01

Accord 2008 3.5 v6 6 speed Manifold Gasket

Part# -- 17105 RCJ A01

Looks like the same part number with the exception of the chassis codes which i dont think matter. Oh and the 3.5 gasket is double the price of the 3.0???

And for reference the throttle body gaskets are the same part # on both cars. 16176-RCA-A02

I hope Paul chimes in if he has played with the various mainfolds...

I don't know if there is a big enough airflow restriction to warrant the cost of the new manifold.
If the stock head alone flows 250cfm and with the intake attached flows 248cfm, than you really aren't going to see any gains for your $$$.

A forced induction application will be different, but I was under the impression that our SOHC heads were a bigger restriction than the manifold itself, especially the 6spd version.
