pros.....car looks sick slammed coil overs and the evo2 has a nice deep tone so it sounds awesome.

cons.....ride sux compared to stock and the cans are too big on the evo2.

remember though, the cans being too big is just my opinion. some people like it. i am just tired of it cause i have a evo2.

I was curious I was reading in other posts about the EVO exhaust not having enough room running with the OEM lip kit... also, with the coils I'm thinking I'm going to have to roll my fenders in the back if I wanna go down another inch... I currently have 225-35-19's on it with I think a 42 offset if i'm not mistaken... with the coils does it ride like crap? I've had coils on my civic with stock shocks and that rode like a piece... I thought maybe buying a good set of coils I'd get a better ride, I currently have the S-techs with stock shocks now. I was also leary about buying that exhaust cause for one I don't want the ricey sound at all.. I want something deep and throaty.. I'm hoping I purchased the right exhaust I've watched a bunch of vids on them but videos can't really do justice..

well i have tein basic coilovers and the ride is pretty good actually. but compared to stock it is crap. i can live with it though.

as far as the ws2 not fitting with the lip kit, i don't know about that. there are several on this forum running that setup without any problems. oh and with the evo2, you have to get bigger rubber hangers cause it will touch the lip. you can also do what project imports did for me and heat up the metal hanger and bend it down a bit.

here's a pic of my evo2 with my car lowered. as you can see it sits too low. i scrape too much. that is why i want to go with mufflers that will sit higher.

iirc, most people with the hfp kit had trouble with the exhaust tip on the evo being a little bit too close and having it slightly melt. aprevo might want to confirm this since he has this setup.

whats the width on your wheels? i dont thing you will need to roll your fenders at all, especially with that offset and 225 series tires.

as for suspension, should have gotten the ss or ss-p if your worried about ride quality. at least you can adjust the dampening if you think its riding a bit harsh. regardless, the basics will ride MUCH better than the sleeve type with stock shocks you had on your civic. no wonder it rode like a piece of crap true coilovers are the only way to go

yeah the evo2 will touch the rear lip. i had a guy at kiet's shop melt the metal hanger and bend it a bit so the tip sits lower.

The only reason I think I might have a problem with the rear is that its fairly close to the lip now of the fender, and I have had it aligned when it was first lowered, I do have the SPC rear camber correction and the rear wheels toe in somewhat causing improper tire wear on the inside, so I don't think it was aligned totally right.. the rims are 19x8. as for the exhaust, I was thinking about the longer rubber hangers but I didnt want to run into the problem of scraping the ground... I'm hoping there is some happy medium somewhere with the exhaust. to you guys that have the evo2 does it sound deep? I've been out of the game since I had my civic with an exhaust and it was raspy... I'm 27 now and I don't want something to sound like a little ricer. Hope no one takes offense to that.. just trying to get some good feedback.

junk the SPC and go with the ingalls. ive heard there are quality issues with the ball joint type camber kits, such as the SPC.

BTW, 19x8 43 offset wont rub one bit.

do you have a rear view shot of the exhaust... from the side it looks like it hangs alot lower than the bumper
