Q. What is the fastest 7th gen. Accord's 0-60mph acceleration?

I'm just curious that there are many modified 7th gen accords out there and what is the fastest 7th gen accord's 0 to 60mph acceleration?

I don't think anybody really takes the time to measure their car from 0-60... if anything, we just take it to the track to get either the 1/8 mile time, or 1/4 mile time. Measuring time to cover a distance is much easier than time to accelerate to a certain speed. Timing how long it takes your car to accelerate from a certain speed to another speed is more reasonable for an actual car owner than trying to get the best launch possible on the street to go from 0-60. It is also a better indicator of what the car is capable of, instead of how good of a driver the owner is.

From what I've seen, the fastest road test 0-60 for the 7th gen Accord is 5.9 seconds. I would think that it is impossible to get into the fours with this car without heavy duty slicks and boost.

Some guy ran a 13.6 NA on this site, so I'm guessing he was in the mid-to-low 5s from 0-60mph. That's just a guess though.

Where, and why isn't he on the 1/4 list? What was his setup? I know somebody ran a 13.9 with just the usual bolt ons and engine mounts, which is what I am aiming for this summer.

Does he have a J33+ build, or slicks?

From MickAV6: "I ran 14.20 97 mph with my last 7th gen 6mt and 13.90 98 with intake and test pipe! 13.60 103 mph with cat back exhaust and tl-s camshaft and block bored 0.25 ! so i realy think it depend on the track and the temperature... also think av6 are underrated!!."

Oh yeah I forgot about that guy, probably because reading his posts makes me want to punch babies JK I know he's from Canada-land. I know he had decent tires, from what I remember, but to cut a 60 ft time good enough to achieve the times at stock/near stock he must have been launching in a manner that would make the inventor of the clutch roll over in his grave lol. I wonder if he ever got the car tuned after the bore/cam swap?

theres a couple mid 13 second supercharged accords around. Most are traction limited to around 5-5.5 seconds to 60 mph. once they hook up they are decently quick.

He has a flux capacitor, and as long as he can get it up to 88 he can manipulate the 0-60 to whatever he wants.
