velocity stack

I was reading on some forums, and its a proven fact (for b series engines at least) that a velocity stack and a shortram intake provides the best airflow, even better than a cold air intake.

what are your guys opinions on this?

Correct me if i'm wrong, but the J series have 6 velocity stacks inside the intake plenum. I know for a face my J32A1 does.

It's true, All of our track cars have velocity stacks on them for track use only. We cut a hole into our hood, run a short ram to a velocity stack, and have a hood ram that directs air straight into the velocity stack. It's been proven to yield 10-15 more HP on the dyno for B-series engines and that's comparison with an AEM intake.

you're wrong. With an intake plenum, you just took the whole purpose of velocity stacks away.
