TB/ported intake runner mods worth it for an NA J30?

Would the P2R 69-71mm TB and ported intake runners be worth the money on a bolt-on j30a4? I would imagine they would give good gains on force fed engines... Would they be pretty much useless without a good tune on our NA engines?

I would say so. With an intake, bored TB, and ported IM, I think you could definitely see a good gain.

Not sure about the service, but the runner for each cyliner costs $60 from what I've read in other threads, and $379 to purchase the pair ported from p2r, so I figure about $250 if you send yours in. This is info for the 2008+ AV6 though, I'm sure it would be very similar for 7th gens.

From what I've heard, Maxbore does the TB for a little over $100.

This is great news.
