It will fit Jeff. There are a couple guys on Azine that have it on their Accord's.

The J pipes look pretty sweet. Looking at the thread that XLR8 started when they were making them, it looked like a good amount of R&D went into the development. Granted they look just like the ATLP J Pipe but just the suttle difference's you can tell they are made better. Good Luck with it

yeah the atlp jpipes look like crap..imho.
which would be better richies or the xlr8,i like richies cuz itll tuck up and not hanglow.which would greatly help cuz im slammed and my stock pipe is torn up like no more fle pipe and its flat and scraped lol.

but,i like the xlr8 jpipe cuz it doesnt go from one pipe straight into another like the rv6.it has two seperate pipes that connect into a 2-1 connector.

ok now im stuck.on xlr8 jpipe dyon for the tl it was like 7whp and 16 lb-ft tq. im liking those numbers.
only problem im looking at is if the xlr8 jpipe will hang lower the richies due to the design.but xlr8's looks less restrictive..

any opinions guys?? anything will help

Get Richies jpipe.

Just because a TL got 7whp, doesn't necessarily mean your accord will. I'm willing to bet they both perform relatively the same.

not scrapping on every bump > 1-2hp

Yeah Jeff, since your lowered, I'd get Richie's. Dragging exhaust components FTL!

If you take a little polish out every now and then Richie's will shine like new!

Richie's showed 5whp and 7wtq on an auto Accord V6 IIRC. Can't compare those numbers to a TL dyno.

I can't see the XLR8 pipe cause you have to join to view the page, but I am very happy with Richie's jpipe. You might want to get at him quick though because I think he was running out of them.

BTW, i wish I could afford a Neo and a tune. I could probably see some good gains with that. Oh well...

Richie's J-pipe is poorly designed and poorly manufactured. Sorry to burst your bubbles but i've installed more than 5 of these and none of the holes lined up properly to the precats. Every single J-pipe i installed I had to drill the holes out so it fit properly. Also the last RV6 j-pipe I installed the welds were right on the hole making tightening the bolt an issue with cracking the weld and causing an exhaust leak.

I haven't seen a picture of the XLR8 Jpipe but if you post a picture up, I'll give you my opinion. As for the A-TLP, it by far the more superior design.

Really? My RV6 Jpipe fit perfectly and all the welds were top notch. I can agree with you and say that the ATLP is designed better, as well as the XLR8. However, they both hang lower so if lowered, you will probably scrape. It's up to the person really, the ATLP and XLR8 will show better gains, but they are both more expensive and hang lower. ATLP is coming out with a "V2" though, with even more equal length primaries and hangs like stock

aww wtf i sh*t that doesnt bolt right on when it suppose to.
well yeah the xlr8 jpipe looks wayyyy less restrictive but if it hangs lower than stock or same as stock itll be done by the end of this year no joke.
so im leaning towards richies..
kiet may i ask what exactly did you have to do to make it fit, like was it off by a little or you did WORK? lol

the richie j-pipe hangs low also. mine is all scraped up before I was even low as I am right now. I actually had to work to get it to fit. So for a part that should be easily installed, expect to pay an extra. I probably wouldn't charge the extra, but I know many other shops will.

I had to drill out the hole so it lines up properly.

XLR8 hands down is a better piece of craftsmanship.

While I can't comment on which jpipe is made better, I do know that Richies jpipe fit fine for me.

+1

It fit perfectly, the welds were perfect (had a mechanic/engineer helping me and said the welds were great), the test pipe fit perfectly, didn't have to drill holes or any allignment problems - and I got mine during the first batch. Weird.

I got mine during the first batch too.. i'll admit mine was fair. The welds were nice. However the past 4-5 J-pipes i've installed were not the same unfortunately.

Don't forget that I install exhaust systems all the time, COBB, INVIDIA, HKS, TANABE, PERRIN, etc.. I'm not saying all the J-pipes were bad, but it was unfortunate that the last 4 or 5 i installed were horrible.

I didnt have any fitment issues with my setup from richie (precats/jpipe/test pipe) but as much clearance as its supposed to offer, for some reason on my stock jpipe i scraped the 180* turn and not the flex pipe, on richie jpipe the bend is recessed well enough but the flex pipe got scraped. The welds on all the pipes looks top notch on all my pipes as well, sounds like you got some defective ones or something.

this...is so hard.i get to choose between both and i need to choose by tonight so the guy getting it can order it for me.its either he orders me a new rv6 jpipoe or gives me his xlr8 jpipe.

the ONLY issue im concerned about now is if the xlr8 hangs a "little" lower than stock would it be worth it to get this.
note* my stock jpipe is like 2 1/2 inches from the ground

Mine fit fine also. I got mine on the 4th GB and that the one where Richie had to send them another jig. Maybe the j-pipes matched up better. Who knows....
