This is pretty old news. A Honda engineer claimed using premium would give an extra 10hp and 10tq to the crank. To my knowledge, no one has proven or dis-proven via a dyno or track runs.

So take it for what it's worth.

I hear if you sacrifice a chicken and drain it's blood into your tank you get +25 hp to the wheels. Is this true???

if you comparing old j30 and new the its not gas
if you didnt ready, compresion and heads were changed, im sure couple other things as well,

doesnt mean auto or manual since those figures are at crank, manual trany just has less power loss then auto

to wheels its more like 210-215 (i seen 212 number somewhere from dyno) but there are different dynos and different climate conditions so number will vary

This thread sucks. I thought somebody hit 250 whp with bolt-ons and wanted to share the good news. Instead I get the equivalent of learning we landed on the moon.

Newsflash: most Hondas benefit from an advance in ignition timing, in NA form.

How many times have you cycled premium through your system? IIRC from guys that claim to have seen benefits from using premium after using 87 or 89, they need to cycle about 3 tanks worth.

With a tune though, right?

And your torque numbers seem really low with that hp output. you are 6MT right? That torque number seems really low.

Ohh icic. Did u feel any dif before and after neo? Same question for pully.

An it's also a proven fact that a Honda pilot gets 10 hp and 10 tq on premium and premium is recomended when towing with the pilot.

With all of the bolt-ons, you're going to see a substantial gain with a good tune. It will probably make up 1/4-1/3 of your power gains, wouldn't you say Chad? I've read in the excess of 10whp/10wtq, and not just peak gains - throughout the entire powerband.

Also, Chad, lol - I was about to say, 202wtq is probably what we put down with an intake, i was scared. 252whp and 224wtq, that's tits man. And you have a pulley and a tune vs. what I have. Damn that makes me want to go out and spend some money

If you do some rough math, those numbers suggest you have approximately 290hp/258tq at the crank (using 15% drivetrain loss). That's so nice - enough to beat a lot of cars that used to be out of our range.
