XLR8 J-pipe vs Richies J-pipe

Does anyone know how much difference I will notice between the two pipes as for power wise in both hp and tq. Thank you.

8 whp. If your looking for performance go with the XLR8, but if your slammed, it hangs lower than the rv6 so you might scrape it up.

but xlr8 def has better performance.

If you are willing to wait ATLP is coming out with a V2 of theirs and it hangs like stock and is a really good design. Also the peak numbers I dont think do it justice because it has good gains throughout the power band.

I already have richies J-pipe and I am going to be trading with someone on here for the xlr8 pipe. Just tripple checking that it will be more of a power gain. Will the ATLP V2 be better then the xlr8? My car is not lowered at all.

I'm guessing that the performance difference has to be minimal, not sure if its worth the cost difference. But I guess will have to wait til worldon1finger finds out.

I'll let everyone know how it turns out. Will this scrape if I drop my car a inch and half? My girl was planning on getting me springs and struts in early summer. I just want to make 100% sure it wont scrape if I do that.
Thanks

i honestly believe that what ever gains you receive going from stock to richies, will be the same going from richies to xlr8/atlp. it flows that much better IMO.

my bad bro. brett pmd first which i forgot.

and once i get richies i'll see if theres a big difference.im already expecting there to be but oh well.i'd rather be low.

and brett it wont scrape with a typical spring drop,i would have clearance if i raised my car to where the fender sits right above my tires but nah lol

It's all good. Hopefully the RV6 won't scrape.

in reality your choice wasnt really going to make that big of a difference other then sound slightly....I have an injen and love it and I really dont think a V2 would be THAT much better then it.

Your right. I had an injen for years. I switched to a V2 because I got a great deal on one... The difference is very minimal if any.

The V2 is louder and might give 1-2 hp increase. I changed from a K&N to the V2 and mostly noticed the sound.

Well, your car has torque, lol. I also went from K&N to V2. And noticed that the K&N had better throttle response and low end torque. The V2 had much more aggressive sound and pulled harder in the top end. Just my butt dyno.
