My exhaust vid, sounds good

Here is for all the doubters and the people who wanna make their accord sound nice for cheap. Stock everything, stock intake, just removed the driverside pipe and put a straight pipe to a apexi muffler. I think i'm going to remove the premuffler tmrw, any opinions?

Sounds a little bit high pitched for me but I really like deep tones. Can I ask why you went single instead of dual?

really? sounds really low pitched to me. Im on stock intake though. When i lifted the car, i noticed that the second exhaust is point less. its just one pipe that is split in half for dual exhaust. Now i just have one pipe straight to the muffler. I noticed a little more torquieness. And i think it sounds mean. although i think dual exhausts look better

well yeah plus now you have an open slot on the left where your other muffler was. I think it would be deeper if you would have gone dual

yea thats pissing me off lol, i think imma trade with a 4 cyl. And yea maybe, but i think it would be quieter. After aemv2 and premuffler cut it should sound perfect. and remember this is a ****ty 20 dollar camera phone.

Sounds pretty good to me. Plus you said it's a sh!tty camera, that makes a big difference. With the premuffler off it should be decently louder, and it's gonna drone a lil bit.

It sounds good but honestly doesn't sound as deep as my Borla and doesn't sound overly loud (which I like, that's not a knock). Also I don't know where you're getting the G35 gurglish sound but maybe that's becasue you used a camera phone. I'd like to see some pics as well. Congrats anyway, you're the only one that needs to be satisfied with the mod.

edit: also I thought you had a V2 installed?

not to shabby. i think a better camera will do your exhaust more justice. do you have any pics of it? i thought about a single exhaust way back when i first got the car.

comptech ftw!

although mine sounds deeper and more burbly/gurgly than yours and i still have the comptech premuffler and a 22' resonator too. did you take this vid when you first got it installed? they do get louder as time goes on.

i had the aemv2, but we've been getting crazy rain here in chicago so i put the stocker back on for now. and i removed my premuffler today, and oh my god what a difference, it is a LOT louder, and it sounds very gurgly, i will try to get a video up with a real camera tonight and you guys can tell me what you think.

and 04accordcpe, you have supercharger, thats cheating :-P. Yea your car sounds like a damn monster. My car sounds a bit more like yours now after premuffler removed.

and im not sure what kind of apexi muffler it is.

Those pre-mufflers are small but they keep the exhaust quiet big-time.

Now, get yourself one of RichieV6's test pipe and see how loud it sounds after that piece of pipe. lol

Richie's test pipe and j-pipe really aren't that loud. I have it in conjunction with an AEM CAI V1 and a Borla exhaust..granted I still have the pre-mufflers and resonator but I don't think it will make it that much louder.

It does actually sound pretty good, but man, it looks horrible. Too ricey for my old man tastes. As long as you like it though, that's all that matters.

I agree with people. I think if you got a better camera it would sound nicer. It look slightly ricey. But none the less... good sh*t

Can I get a rear shot? i want to see how that's angled off.

BTW, that's not touching any part of your rear lip, is it? If so, you need to move it immediately or it will melt the plastic bumper. Just FYI because it almost happened to me.

no its not touching my bumper, and i agree it does look a lil ricey. In person it doesn look that ricey, but still a sprikle of it just because 7th gen look like giant whales so it makes the exhaust look small. but hey, not much i can do about that. I love the sound, especially since im on stock intake, i think after intake it wont sound much dif then you guys with crazy expensive setups
