you need to take your bumper off to get to the resonator then im not sure if you are able to take the air box out but it shouldnt be that hard. you may have to cut the airbox out. IDK But dont you live in Cali? aren't you going to run into a problem with carb. issues?

if your doing this for sound only, you can take off the airbox cover, and just put a smaller cone filter in the stock piping, and lay the cone filter in the airbox, and dont put the airbox cover back on. it'l sound just like a actual intake.

driveaccord.net/forums/showthread.php?t=11869 worked the system! haha i also added another hose in the stock air box for more direct flow and didn't have to take off bumper. ppl may think its tacky or cheap but hey when your on a budget your on a budget. haha and if you fail smog check you can just put the stock filter back in and no one would kno

i removed the resonator, and have a drop in filter. It sounds interesting, not as loud as an intake, defiantly more subtle. It does absolutely nothing for performance in my book. Also smog, you wont have any issues.
