Magnaflow Exhaust

Hey Guys

I was wondering if anyone has a photo of the Magnaflow exhaust for an accord 06-07 sedan 16685. When I check the specs on the kit I'm seeing they have 4" (potato shooter) tips on the mufflers and wanted to know how the proportions look against the bumper. 4" tip sounds over sized to me.

Mangnaflow was never a big hit with the Accords.

Most people choose Comptech or Borla.

I was searching around everywhere for a part number for a borla exhaust for an 07? The only one i could find for borla is the 05 year with the downturned tips. I had borla cat-back on a previous car years ago and the quality/sound was great. Not too loud but just the right amount of grunt.

I've been wanting to get a Magnaflow exhaust for quite some time now. But now they've pissed me off and I will probably do custom piping with Flowmaster 40 mufflers. I have tried to call and email Magnaflow but they are worthless. The straw that broke the camels back for me was the fact that they carry the exhaust for the 08 and 09 Accord and not the 07!! I am officially done and will go with another option.

So you did custom piping from the cat? What size piping and what muffler did you go with?

yeah, took out the resonator and put in a magnaflow i think 14" or 18" unit. I used 2.25" piping from the cat back to 14851s. I have had several compliments on it I just find its a little quiet. I want to scare the **** out of the neighbourhood kids though lol

Flowmaster. Deleted the resonator and with the intake... sounds very aggressive.

yeah ikethegreats exhaust sounds great...I'm thinking of still getting the Magnaflow exhaust, but worries that when I put my rear lip on I might need to extend it, thinking of going with WS2 mufflers if I do custom, can't decide weather to go with the Turbo mufflers that have a 3" inlet as compared to the NA muffler that has a 2.25" inlet, want to go with 2.5" piping or might go with 2.25" since it'll line up with the NA mufflers inlet. Too bad Greddy, Tanabe, or Apex'i won't make one for V6 sedans since it's not as popular as the V6 coupes.

Here is the pic of the 06-07 Accord V6 Sedan Magnaflow #16685 exhaust system...

Just out of curiosity, do you get paid everytime you say "ATLP" like in "Idiocracy?"

I got the Magnaflow in the mail today from FedEx and a couple hours later its on the car. It sounds louder but not super loud. I don't have an intake but I do have a throttle body spacer and a K&N filter. I haven't had a chance to really drive it since its raining here but I can't wait. It does drone a bit under light throttle but quiets down while cruising.

Which one for the 03-05 or the 06-07 sedan or coupe I4 or V6? You got pics?
It sucks that only Magnaflow has an exhaust for the 06-07 sedan V6, no other brand made one yet or is going to.

Why would I get paid? I purchased two of the J-Pipes from Mike @ ATLP.

I am not a distributor or a reseller, just an end user like yourself.

What difference does that make? You add about 3 inches of extra piping and they fit perfectly.....
