j32a2 swap

Ok currently i have a 03 accord v6 6speed.. J30a4..
I want to swap in a j32a2.. But I jus wanted to know if my tranny is gunnna bolt up right up to that motor.. Do I need the j32 Ecu? I have the innovative motor mounts.. are they gunna work with the j32? What would be the hardest part of the swap? Any tips or something im going to need for sure?

It won't work, sorry, the J32A2 is a very different engine in terms of sensors and removing your 7th gen ecu is not an option unless you want to also lose AC, ABS, TCS and your cluster.

A J32A3 would be a direct drop though.

You can use the J32A2 head castings and valves, but you need to swap the cams, rear timing covers, cam gears, ect, also one of the oil return passages does not line up and would have to be plugged on both the block and heads. Once you have done that you will still need to add bungs to the turbo manis for the primary O2 sensors. Although the A3 mani will bolt up you will lose the varible intake as they two systems are differently controlled between the J30A4/J32A3 and the J32A2, also the throttle body is not a direct bolt up and a adaptor will have to be fabbed...

And yes a J32A3 from a 04-06 TL is completely a direct drop into the 7th gen AV6, everything bolts and connects up, the sensors are also the same so just xfer the AV6 harness.

paul, just to clarify, swaping in j32a3 into my 03 v6 a/t will also be a direct drop in...everything will work and bolt up as intended?...with the exception of the varible intake not working?

Why would you make a new thread to ask the same question again? I answered your question in this other thread of yours.

Correct, you should swap the intake manifold with your J30A4 AT.

I have swapped a j32a3 into my 05 accord v6 6speed. everything works and bolted directly up. the swap and didnt cause the ecu to throw any codes using the stock ecu but eventually it threw a code for running too lean. so i purchased a 05 tl ecu and brought it to have the keys programmed. As soon as the car starts i am getting a code instantly for the fuel tank pressure system. So I replaced the sensor and the canister, still got the codes. Then i changed out the ecu for another 05 tl ecu and am still getting the same problem. All the wiring appears to be the same for both cars. I just cant figure out what the problem is. Any help?

Did you ever find out what was the problem, I just swap a j32a3 in my 06 accord coupe mt and it is giving me that same code as you, I try two different tl mt ecu as well and still have that code?

With the av6 ECU my car was running lean, I only drove it for about 30m and I was doing 10 to 12 mpg. I parked it while I waited for the ecu. But with the Tl ecu it give me a check engine code p0453. I haven't have a chance to look into it since I just got the tl ecu install yesterday

I sent a PM to Sean (04accordcpe) and he said that we have to relocate one pin on the harness. Which one? he has have no idea.. His man dr chuie did it for him.
Now we know what it is and there no need to be spending money changeing sensors and part that are not going to get us anywhere. Thanks Sonnick, than Sean.
I pm paul, he might know

Will the J32A3 drop into an 04 auto v6 sedan as long as I have the tl's ecu, harness, etc. Obviously axles will be needed but what about mounts and will I have to piggyback my existing ecu? Thanks guys
