save up for a better car or for some serious mods... bolt ons will only get you so far.

for small power gains, you can also get a underdrive crank pulley

Are you paying for your car? Insurance? Do you have a job?

Only reason I ask is because if we know how much you have to spend, it would make this a lot easier to help you out.

Well first off you're one lucky bastard to have that car in HS and not have to pay for it or insurance

In regards to mods - save your money for college. It's better to have spending money for college than mod your car. Beer, pizza, etc... is more important in college than modifications. It's nice that you have the car you do IMO. I didn't get a car until after I graduated (paid for it myself) so yea, I'm jealous

do some weight reduction if you can. Yeah and dont get those cheap mods that was mentioned above. No 20 "chips" work. Get a pulley, j-pipe, and exhaust... Save up and you should be happy with those mods... After that search on here for your preference on exterior mods... good luck and have fun. The classifieds on here is your bestfriend...

if you're using the car as a daily driver though and not just for track.... you should probably keep the spare, jack, and tools in the car in case you end up with a flat. weight reduction is good for shaving time off of a 1/4 mile run but you need those things in the car for everyday driving.

you have to spend good amount of money to make car faster so id save money and do just standard things, exhaust and jpipe. look on craigslist for lightweight weels maybe to replace your stock once and keep your tires.
