Wow this sounds badass bro. Tails look nice. Do you have a cold air intake installed or a short ram?

I like the sound, but can't deal with a droning sound between 2-3k rpms. I take way too many business trips where I cruise right at 2.5-3k rpms for 3-4 hours at a time and that would drive me nuts. But it really does sound good, if it was just my DD and I didn't have to take long trips in it I would probably do this.

It would be actually better if it was more louder. This sounds sweet but i prefer more louder.... yea.... you definitely should install the j-pipe, it would sound more badass.

Maybe I'm using the term improperly. I too often drive without my music on because I love the sound of my exhaust. I have jpipe/testpipe/Borla

I was thinking about doing with this cat did - cutting out the resonator and pre-muff, but I have two concerns:

1. If it's not stainless steel, it's going to rust in like 1 or 2 of our winters
2. Droning

Now what I consider to be droning is an annoying noise while cruising, not the normal sound the exhaust makes when you're accelerating let's say. It just drones throughout the cabin in a high pitched manner. Does that make sense? Is that what you are talking about, or is it deeper in tone and basically sounds like it "normally" would?

i was under the impression the droning is when you hear your exhaust very loudly in the car when driving.

I guess I should clarify - when you hear your exhaust very loudly when driving, is it the deep tone (like the normal Borla tone or Evo 2 tone) or is it higher pitched/raspy/not the normal tone?

deep and low of course. lol. if it was high pitched or raspy i would cut off my exhaust asap.

btw i got a crack in the center pipe. need to replace it. i must of cracked it when i was trying to go over this high speed bump last month. it makes a rattle noise when i rev it high.

Okay cool, I can handle deep. I might just have them cut out the resonator first, see how I like it and then go from there. Hmm..
