Whats going on guys i went to rct performance today to get my car tuned and did so. The mods on my car are

1) AEM v2 intake
2) Richies j pipe
3) Custom 2.5 inch exhaust removing the cat/ mid muffler/ resonator
4) Unorthodox racing underdrive crank pulley
5) Outlaw engineering thermoblock spacers with t/b spacers

As allways i use 93 octane gas. Here is the graph.BTW i am an auto.

Sorry if the graph shows sideways i do not know how to change lol.

the tune shop did not give me the graph with the wide band map so that might be why the torque is low..

The torque and HP axis are switched...

I had over 200 ft-lb wtq with just a V2, but maybe thats because im a 6MT.

250WHP & about 190WTQ..

This is interesting... 7thgencordcoupe posted his dyno and he is showing about 260HP at his BEST pull, but had a low pull of 246WHP & 215WTQ, tuned w/ E-manage Ultimate and has some port and polish. He is automatic also....also has a few more mods, but both of em have pretty much the same bolt-ons.

So as far as N/A engines, could we say the NEO does just as well as a E-manage Ultimate. Although, 7thgencordcoupe is planning to go with a S/C so thats why his ECU platform is the E-manage Ult.

Looks like the HP side was off. It should read the same as torque side as far as numbers go. So thats why he reads 224.8 max hp. That could be why 7thgencordcoupe said he got so high because the sides were not set correctly.

The HP and Torque scales are NOT the same or they would cross at 5250

HP = torque * N / 5250

Mine varied because of how many pulls i did the tranny and car were so heated up. Plus when i install my ported manifold, mounts, tranny cooler, and radiator. I should be upping those numbers. Otherwise nice numbers just clarifying my situation

also how did you dyno lower than 3700 rpms? if you are a auto then your car would of downshifted.

Seriously..I'm no dyno expert, but aren't you supposed to dyno in a gear closest to direct drive?

On an auto you dyno in 3rd gear and 3rd gear wont start lower then roughly 3700 rpms because if you are lower than that and floor it then it will downshift into second.

It just seems like some of these dyno places are not calibrated correctly and are not dynoing these cars correctly. That dyno graph looks pretty normal except for your tq and hp cross mark. No matter what is said on that graph your torque curve is extremely LOW. So if you go by that graph you have less then 180 torque. That shows that the dyno is not calibrated correctly. I would personally ask for them to re-dyno for free since that there is not correct plus you should not be able to in anyway dyno that low in rpms. That is impossible for an auto and even manuals cause the dyno starts at roughly idle rpms. Something just doesnt seem right. I am not bashing but I just want you to know that the dyno is not correct.

Which is exactly why I won't get a tuning mechanism nor will I get a tune period..because I don't trust anyone around here. it's sad that I'd have to make a trip to Paul in VA to get the proper work done for my car. Le sigh...bolt ons it is.

It is sad because all shops around me are idiots. Paul is the only one who I trust with my car and I'm sure everyone here wishes he was in each of our garages. haha. I just dont like seeing places take advantage of people.

Allright the car is auto and he started it in d3 and I did NOT get the wideband tune graph. I know the torque is low that is because I do NOT have the graph of the wideband tune. I will get it tomorrow or so if possible, and the torque is @ 190 right now with the graph above.

Well the graph above shows hp at roughly 250 and torque below 180. That just seems weird. I am going by your writting on the graph with torque on the left and hp on the right.

Your car is probably realistically at 220hp and 200tq. That is about right with your bolt ons.

His graph says Max 224HP, that is in line with what I would expect the TQ number is on for a AT, but I know it is real easy to adjust the graph to say whatever you want, but the guy running the dyno forgot to update the max HP number................

After looking at the sheet again you can see the right/bottom colum is in FT LBS for TQ, so 224HP and 180TQ, which is about right...

So paul is the torque to low? For the auto since its wheel or what? Because I spoke to kevin 05av6 and he had the same problem in which they did not do the wideband tune and the same thing happened to mine.

also, dyno dynamics dynamometers are dual roller machines and tend to give the lowest hp and tq readings of all the types of dyno's out there. those numbers would be higher on a dynojet.

before i installed my SC, i had my car dyno'd on a dynamics machine too. mods at the time were i/e/p/procats.

229.7 hp
192 tq

so, 224HP and 180TQ does sound about right for an auto.

Don't be paranoid. It looks good. How does the car feel? Does it feel good? Dynos are not all alike so you can't trust them 100% but it does give you an idea. I think your graph looks like an accord graph should.
