p2135 code yesterday

pretty much a mile from home when i got off 95...i'm in 3rd gear at about 40mph and my car just bogged, TCS, the little exclamation mark and check engine light come on and my car starts running like **** and wouldnt move when i hit the gas. i shut the car off and start it and only the CEL is on. i shut it off and turn it to IGN to put my codescanner on it and i get the p2135 code. i clear it and drive way and car is normal. doesnt happen again. i googled it and it said its a Throttle Position Sensor? i tried various honda forums and parts websites but couldnt find the part for a 7th gen. has anyone had this problem before? if so, what was the outcome? what was done?

You need to replace your accelerator position sensor. Since the Accord is DBW the TPS and APS are the same thing. Same thing happened to me but Ive also noticed I dont get as good of gas mileage and in the low end the car feels very strange. Also can you do me a favor.....next time your driving punch it and see if it starts to smell in your car. I think the CPU freaks and just starts to dump fuel in at WOT because I did it the other day and it smelled badly of rotten eggs.

This happened to me..intermittently. You're just going to have to change the sensor.
