We have just the J pipe on the coupe and it is a noticeable difference. I'm sure a complete exhaust overhaul would yield even better gains but you won't kick yourself for buying it.

is your space bar broken? LOL

yes, you will gain some good power with just a jpipe swap, but why do the whole exhaust?

just beware that even with a modest drop, you are going to destroy the jpipe. it hangs wayyyy to low.

does this "modest drop" include the eibach pro kit? If that's the most I'm dropping would it be doable?

The pro kit doesn't drop you down very far so you should be fine.

Thanks, thats what I was thinking, but hadn't seen anyone specifically address the pairing.

I can't drop that far with my daily commute anyway (subpar road quality), and from looking around I would really like the XLR8 if I can fit it.

Actually we don't have any clearance issues with cars with a modest drop; it's only those cars that are slammed that we run into problems with. So generally a 2" or greater drop would cause an issue with clearance.

Good thing to know. So it probably won't scrap with eibach prokit while going over speed bumps? I don't want to get out and push. lol
