Its a common misunderstanding, we don't have headers, search pre-cats deletes, and jpipes.

The 7th gen exhaust ports convert to one exit that is welded to the block. Just after that is what we call the pre-cats, then the j-pipe, then the cat, then the exhaust. We have no headers.

I'm a member of a few different forums, people usually get flammed if they ask a question that has an answer that has been covered. There is usually more lee-way if you ask an opinionated question, like brand or type of product. Good luck and happy modding.

If you look carefully, there's only one single outlet for the "headers". Hope that helps.

Its cool man... I appreciate you helping me out. Thats all I was looking for was some answers. Its not like Im 100% percent clueless to modding, just sometimes you have to ask questions to get where you trying to go.

yeah but at the same time that question could have been posted on the another thread that has more ppl involved and thus getting more answers to the question...

to post a pic you need to get the image link to the pic. you can right mouse click on the pic then goto properties. from there copy the URL and then paste it between

and OT for you sig, read the guidelines for signatures. LOL you only get one shot, and if you fail they will ban you from signatures.

Guess I have a related question. With all the searching i've done, it seems that there is a lot of reference to lower torque with the precat's installed, along with fitment issues and inspection/emissions issues.

What is the benefit of the precat deletes? I'm assuming higher max hp.

Also, i'd love to see some pics of peoples modded exhausts with the car on a lift, if anyone has some.

John search "Pre-cat deletes". I assure you there are at least half a dozen threads with info on them.
