Transmission Pressure Sensors

Hey all,

I was doing some reading into preventative maintanence for my automatic and stumbled accross this thread on Acurazine. Its a little long winded but it looks like there is some truth to it. They are in a nut shell determining if replacing the pressure sensors on the transmission could extend its life, as they get gunked up and wear out over time. I'm still leaning towards a transmission cooler in the spring but thought maybe we could start a little discussion here.

I guess the question is this: Does replacing the pressure sensors on your automatic transmission potentially extend its life? Fact or myth.

replacing solenoid would probably help a little but their is also a thread on az for the top solenoid adjustment but you have to have a special tool.

I hope there is a definite answer, so far as we know, changing the fluids early, letting off the gas as it shifts and definitly a cooler will extend the life... it would be great to have something else, I also think that you can replace the filter, even though its not mentioned in the manual. Where is he sensor located?
