aem v2, coilovers, custom 2.5 inch piping mendrel bent, no resonators or mufflers. still have stock precats, and stock j pipe, but the stock j pipe has been cut in like half to get rid of the third cat, and i have the 2.5 inch pipe starting from there. couple of other things here and there.

thanks!

ooooo.... that exhaust is way to loud and raspy for my taste. is that the way you want your true dual setup to sound like?? there really isnt a good tone there IMO. if there is, its drowned out by the loudness. =/ at least slap a muffler on there

oh and socal FTW!!

hehe. Thats my kinda loud.

I bet you can tell how your top end RPM's opened up with your exhaust set-up.

** I remember that old vid where the guy had a unique "header" setup...and to dyno at 240WHP was pretty good also.

To be honest.

All I heard in that vid was a song I can't stand and...
pop, pop, rev limiter, pop, pop, pop rev limiter, pop!

Way too loud and obnoxious sounding for my taste. You have managed to make a nice V6 sound like an I4. But to each there own I guess...

its cause of stuff like this i love this forum. i was basically gonna do the same thing in terms of the exhaust setup. no mufflers. but after watching the vid, i don't want it. although it does sound pretty mean, its just too loud and raspy.

awesome vid though.

my speakers arent the greatest in the world, but they do the job i think you and i have 2 different interpretations on what rasp is and sounds like. no way is a straight pipe catback with ZERO resonators/mufflers not going to give you any rasp every single time you gave it throttle i heard it xD

i guess my biggest gripe is theres no exhaust tone whatsoever. its all good though, to each his owm and as long as you like the sound, thats what matters. just remember loud isnt always better

true but the thing that i think keeps the rasp down is the stock precats.

yea i think we do have 2 different interpretations on rasp, i think the second link i posted with the silver accord vs rsx is raspy as hell

i dont condone driving like that through residential neighborhoods, and never have. you may have never seen a complaint on another video post, but you havent seen me supporting it either.
I see two reasons for getting pulled over in this vid: speeding, and loud exhaust.
