Dont buy the cheep pos on ebay, chip mods are normally expencive and require updated parts as well as the chip

I had pretty good luck with a chip that I got for my other car. It was plug and play! I am little heasitant screwing around with newer cars. I tend to play with much older cars (BuickGN). What other updated parts might you be talking about.?

Again thanks for the input

All the "performance chips" you see on Ebay are complete crap. Don't be a fool and waste your money.

There aren't really any "chips" for the J series. Currently, the best piggyback unit for our J series is the AEM FIC. I don't think it's going to increase your MPG though.

Now, if you are serious about HP and MPG increase, you would need to stroke your engine. Read up on it from the threads by NVA-AV6.

yeah it will dude. You can lean out the cruising AF to above 15 and get better MPG . I did this on my Accord when I ran it with a VAFC , I gained 4mpg
