I will my only concern is that the tone changes it goes from a deep tone almost like a 350z or g35 to like a little ricer and very raspy, then back to the a deep tone again thats why Im asking. I'll definitely post another video later with some redline in it.... by the way this only happens wen the car is being driven while in idle or revin doesnt have this problem

yes, it's the precat deletes causing that bro. When there is load on the engine it makes a different tone. but believe me thats normal, if you want it to go away, add another resonator and it will tone it down.

I'll bet a pair of turbo style mufflers would quiet it down a lot. Had to do that with the 4th gen I had. Header, resonator (still had the cat though) and a Magnaflow gave me a ton of drone at freeway speeds. Went back to the shop that built the exhaust and had them put a turbo muffler on it instead. Still had a mellow deep tone at idle but the drone was completely gone, you couldn't hear the engine anymore at freeway speeds inside the car and even when I got on it, my cold air intake was louder. Zero and I mean zero, rasp.

Turbo mufflers are pretty free flowing, not quite like straight through but way better than OEM.

Curious, how do you get around emission testing with no cats? Here they plug into your OBDII port and check for codes. Any codes, you fail. Do y'all use O2 sims or non-fouler extenders to pass?

If adding another resonator would make stop I might just do that. Well here in Miami we don't have emission testing so Im not worry about it but I do have a fouler for my O2's sensor and Im not getting any codes from the car.

If non-foulers will work, great. As long as I don't have any codes, thats what matters.

CC Insert for reducing exhaust drone....wow it works! - AcuraZine Community
Try one of these this guy says it gets rid of the droan mabey it will work on rasp too or try a high flow catalytic converter from magnaflow that rasp is the reason why I have the factory cat on my 3inch exhaust setup...

Check jpipe hanger, make sure the rubber mount is not broken. Cause if so, jpipe will move under engine movement and cause a sound which sounds like a leak. On idle revs u wont hear it, cause no stress..

On this thread i posted vid of how my exhaust sounds with hanger not in the rubber mount, sounds very similar to urs inside cabin also

Yea the hanger will appear to be fine, but the rubber area where the hole is located, u wouldn't be able to tell is cracked unless u pull on that area a little and see if there is play or have a bright light to see if rubber area is torn. It's hard to see cause that rubber area is all black

Ordered my new one today and it will arrive on Thursday
