Borla Exhaust Update

Resonance issues have been resolved. If you bought a system for your 7th gen V6 accord from Borla and would like it to be a bit quieter. Please call us at 877-GO-BORLA and ask for customer service. We will send you out a new component that will solve the resonance issue.

Thanks for your patience and assistance with this matter.

Wow!! Now that's what I call Customer Service!!

Does anyone have a picture of the area that the Borla is welded onto our OEM piping? I was just wondering where and how it is welded. If it's not too bad then I might as well get one HELP!!

Thanks a lot David. Just called Customer Service and they had no idea and told me to call back in a couple weeks. What part is being replaced? Thanks again for making sure that the consumers are 100% satisfied. I'll try calling back costumer service tonight or tomm.

Please try again, dial "0" (for the operator) and ask for Richard in customer service. If you still have a problem, please email me at [email protected] .

Thanks

David, I have one on order now. In fact, it is on back order. When it arrives I have some concerns.

How do we know we are getting the imporved version?

What is the part number?

What is different from it and the previous version?

If we receive the previous version, what do your customers do?

Thanks for your help, I know several other members of the board have parts on back order as well.

Talked to Richard and I should have the replacement piece in around 4 weeks. Looks like they just added a resonator to one of the sections and left the rest unchanged. Works fine for me. Thanks again David.

Brex I'm with you on how this might effect performance. Hopefully David can get us some dyno information.

I wouldn't stress it. Most aftermarket exhaust systems come with one anyway. Are we going to get into a exhaust performance debate for the 1 millionth time?

No not a debate. Just interested if there is a difference. Trust me if this resonator does the trick I'm not sending it back. I got the V2 at least doing something for me performance wise......oh yeah I'm sure someone is going to tell me that isn't doing anything but I like it.

I just called Richard at Borla and I'm on the list for the part. Thanks again David and the rest of the Borla staff. Keep up the good work!

Richard told me on the phone that the change in the system makes no difference to the performance gains. They dynoed honda_girrrls car before and after the mod. Now I don't know if we'll actually get to see those numbers but at this point I don't care.
