7th gen DC Sports Dyno

Dyno from Dc sports says that intake header and exhaust on the 7th gen I4 Coupe produces 24 peak hp, anybody have these products, how realistic are these figures+

I would take the HP claim very lightly until someone buys them and dynos there car with them. Aftermarket companies sometimes make HP claims that just arenít true or even realistic.

No such thing as an intake "header" The term header comes from the exaust manifold that connects directly to the heads, hence headers. The intake tueb connects to the throttle body. Anyways yeah thats not a huge gain for both an intake and a exaust system.

no such thing as headers for a 7th gen AV6 either, it has built in exaust manifolds in the heads. Removal would require cutting, grinding, welding, and then making headers. Don't think so

The mods aren't producing 24 extra "peak" horsepower. As in, the engine doesn't have 160 + 24 = 184 hp.

The "peak" gains they're referring to are just the maximum gains that were produced at any point on the curve, and that just happened to be at redline. That's the maximum gain that it produced. The gains in "peak horsepower" were more along the lines of 12 hp maybe.
