Intake for my Av6-6

So im looking for a intake for my car.

MY top 2 choices right now is a custom dual throttle body (maybe dual ZDX) or a 3.7 manifold with a zdx tb.

Im running a stock intake right now.

my mods list are:
rv6 v3 PCD - need to install
xlr8 v2 j-pipe - need to install
type s cams - on order
hondata - maybe later

should i get a custom 4 inch intake with my stock setup first?

also, where do i get a custom intake done?

Paul makes the dual throttle body manifolds. If you (or a friend) are adventurous you could probably make your own. I recommend buying from Paul though.

If you want to go dtb wait on getting a 4" intake made. If you go OEM parts go ahead and make one yourself and it'll work for both setups.

Ya if your going with the zdx/tl mani and tb I hear that a custom 4" intake is the best. Although whats nice about the AEM v2 is that it has threaded port for the relocation of the IAT already.

UBI air intake kit from amazon will be the easiest and cheapest way to get from a stock kit to a 4" size.

I personally want to get a K&N typhoon cause it does a short ram and full cold air intake.

I have one of puals ISRI and that **** loud when you go into VTEC. Sounds like a b series motor cuz VTEC kicked in. but when I am just driving regular it is pretty quiet like stock. I also had and AEM CAI and it was good but I was worry about sucking in water. But it also sound good all the time but not as loud as the SRI.

As a side note both intake whistle under 2200 for me.

Think I'll do a custom 4 inch for now with a zdx tb and 3.7 manifold. I have a spare top plate so it will cost me roughly 400 for the set.

Is composite tube better or aluminum for cold air intake
