310cc Injector upgrade

Pulled these off from a 2013 MDX 3.7L with 14k on it. Direct bolt on to the accord runners. I will be check I g the fuel lines also since I pulled all of it out. You will need the connector from Simeon to convert to the denso 8 hole injectors. They have the same atomization as rdx.

These can be found on the gen 3 j motors so accord v6 08+, tl 09+, MDX , pilot, etc etc. No need for 410cc if your staying N/A. You will never hit 75% duty cycle with rdx on a N/A j30aX.

310cc should be good for 300-330whp since these power the new j37z#

Will have to let me know how it goes. Feels like my engine isn't making enough boom for my heads/exhaust. Which leads me to either stroker, turbo, and/or bigger IM and TB with more fuel. Barely hitting 12.8 afr at WOT.

Sure if I do my fuel strainer this weekend injectors will also go in. I also have the runners off the MDX to measure for the hell of it

3.5 mdx? if so please do. Had to port a set of 3.5 and they looked different. Originally bought 3.0 runners to replace them with. and didn't look like the same fit on the heads.

Do all these set ups run the same fuel pressure? Do they have the same fuel pumps? I was under the impression that duty cycle can be dropped by either increasing size of injector or increasing the fuel pressure. If thats the case, if we don't have the same fuel pressures then we can't expect the 310cc's to perform as well as they do on the j37.

yes you can drop duty cycle by upping pressure or larger injector. But remember you can also have too large of am injector. Injector are measured in MilliSec.

Here is a link for the fuel pressure of the accord

http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...-pressure.html

If you need more pressure you can always crush the FPR or get a better pump. I am just increasing my overhead for the PnP heads and camshaft. Also the better atomization should help the fuel burn more completely an make more power

Oh yeah, I agree with the benefits, I was just saying that I wouldn't expect them to handle as much HP/TQ as they originally did unless the factory fuel pumps and pressures were the same.

And do we have FPRs on our series? The tuner started talking about relocating it and then stopped himself and saying he was thinking of a different J series and ours was just regulated by the pump. Not sure if that was true or not and couldn't verify because at that point none of my fuel system was stock anymore.

Our fpr is on the canister in the tank right by the fuel pump. Just like 8th gen and 9th gen si's we run a returnless fuel system.

Also switching to a higher flowing fuel pump can/will decrease IDC. Even though your fuel pressure will stay the same, your now flowing more at that given pressure.

I'll take a close up pix of my TLS vs my MDX. I have 3 TLS couldn't find 3 TLS for cheap.

They look like a cross (ignore those -- used them to bump the spacing)

Nice banana upgrade there. How many hp do those bananas add on to your accord?

Bumping this back to life. If I do a 75 shot of dry would I benefit from these bigger injectors? Also have we ruled these as direct Bolton to stock 7th gen j series?

U would need conversion kit. Also might be too rich for factory ecu to adjust

Are you not tuning with anything even with injectors?

If you are doing a 75 dry shot you'll probably want meth more than bigger injectors.

Where would be the best place to put the nitrous nozzle? And the water meth nozzle? I'm getting the 75 dry shot zex kit that opens at only WOT.

I actually saw a kit for direct that has little extenders for the injectors. Still wonder if that works.

Grab a p2r TB spacer, easiest way i've found to get anything in the engine. And/or modify the vacuum port on top of the IM.

Personally I would just suggest getting a wet shot, a p2r spacer, and let the jets do the tuning of extra fuel instead of trying to tune two completely different systems.
