Spec Stg 2 or 3 with oem replacement Flywheel

I have a 2006 Accord Coupe 6-6 with 3" CAI, 2.5" custom cat back and 75 shot of nitrous and other misc. small things. I tried a 100shot and the clutch just can't handle that.

Does anyone on here have a Spec Stage 2 or Stage 3 clutch paired with a replacement OEM style flywheel? Is it worth using or not? Is the flywheel lasting? Do you get positive identical clutch grabs every time?

I really don't want to spring for one of the solid aluminum flywheels because they're lightweight and this car already doesn't have any real torque to speak of. I can't see reducing flywheel weight working out all that well for drag racing like I do.

I want to put in a better clutch but they flywheel options for this car are lame! I wish someone offered a solid flywheel in steel for us as that would be my first choice.

just be sure to double check the part number with spec before you order. I got slightly screwed by Andysautosport. The had the wrong part number listed for our cars.

Do you have a spec stage 2 or 3 clutch on an oem style dual mass flywheel? Are the grabbing point consistent? Do you like it?

I have a Clutchmasters FX250 with the AASCO Flywheel and it's a GREAT combo. I highly recommend it. Clutch pedal is like stock or even a bit softer and it grabs. I heard the pedal is really stiff with the Spec Stage 2+. You can run the stock Flywheel with Spec.

I've yet to go to the track with this setup though.

How sure are you about this?

Is the aasco flywheel still a dual mass correct?

I'm almost positive. Email Spec to confirm it but I'm almost 100%.

AASCO is single mass but works flawlessly.
