5AT to 6MT Swap help

I need a help from you guys to realize a dream: swap my 5AT to 6MT transmission! After this install a Hondata.

I will be in Florida (Miami and Orlando) from 11th to 25th november, and want to buy all the parts needed to do this swap.

Just not to change the reason of this topic let me say some things:

I live in Brazil and there is no 6MT Accord or Acura here.
I want to do this swap and install a Hondata to tune my car.

So what I need of you guys:

Have anyone did this here? Could you send me the post or have any advice about this swap?

What is the size and weight of the transmission core and other parts? Just to calculate how much I will pay to transport in the aiplane back to Brazil...

Do you have a list of all the parts I need for this Swap?
6th gen is very close? (http://www.v6performance.net/forums/...ness-info.html)

Should I buy an Acura TL transmission with LSD? What years/models will fit?

There is any savage yard or used part at Florida (near Miami or Olrando), that could have all these parts?

Thinking about the hondata, Should I buy the Acura TL 07/08 ECU (RDB-A02 trought RDB-A04 and RDB-A11 trought RDB-A12) and it will works OEM with the Accord harmness and motor?

Any help will be apreciated!

It may be easier to sell your car, and import an Accord 6-6 to Brazil.

You need an Accord 6-6 tranny, or a CL-S tranny, or an 04-06 TL tranny. You need clutch, flywheel, pressure plate, clutch master cylinder, slave cylinder, 07-08 TL ECU. If you get an 08 ECU it has to be from a TL-S 6MT in order for it to work with Hondata. You also need the can-bus adaptor, and ECU harness to work with the Accord wiring. You need the Accord 6-6 Intake manifold with butterflies.

You need the shifter, and all cables. The brakes are bigger on the 6-6 as well. Hondata alone with the ECU is about $1500. This swap is pretty involved.

If I missed anything someone can chime in. This is off the top of my head.

Do you still need the manifold with the butterflies now with flashpro?

The 6-6 has butterflies in the manifold. The 6-5mt does not.

Hi,

I searched a lot about this swap and will be very expensive and dificult to buy all the parts needed for this swap. The shipping cost for Brazil is prohibitive.

The brazilian laws prohibit import used cars, only new cars, it is a shame!

Thank you guys for the help again!

Now I changed my plans and want to buy a Acura TL 04-08 Comptech Supercharger kit to install on my Accord.... still reading and dreaming, but if you guys have any experience to share with me about this and the parts that I have to mod to fit this Acura kit on my Accord, it will be welcome!
