i seriously doubt something minor like an intake will affect your transmission so much as to cause a jerk. it was most likely your roughness driving the car expecting it to do more.

why do u guys shift an automatic trans...???

You probably hear the delay becuase your shifting before the ecu is so you get a pause.

Its an auto just drive it...

Because...........

- It's fun.

- Can keep the car in a gear better suited to the driving situation you're in.

- Helps pass the time when driving.

- Engine braking.

And, most importantly of all...........

- It's the only way to get the maximum accelleration out of the car.

U probably hit the rev limiter. Put it in first and accelerate until u reach red line, u should feel like the car died a little and then it starts to hesistate for more. If it's the same feeling, then ur set. No tranny problem. If it feels totally different take it to ur dealer. Remember, U have to practice not to let it hit redline or the limiter will go off and u'll loose some time.

Did you notice you can shift from D to D3 with out pressing the shift button to change gears? If Honda didn't want you to manually shift your car then they would've put a lock on it like in the P, R, 2, 1 gears. Plus in the manual it says you can manually shift your car.

I've always heard a nice little soft growl in mine with the stock intake sytem so it should be louder with ur AEM v2. Remember that u removed the resonator from the intake system in order to install the aem v2. A resonator in the stock intake system is a type silencer in order to have less noise into the cabin. So u removed it, so ur gonna get more growllll!!!

Anyone have any good luck with that Injen Cold Air Intake?

Also, how do you post pics here? I have some pics from my car that I want to post up but it says they're bigger than 1024bytes. But my jpeg pics are no larger than 104bytes?
