Exclamation Borla or Magnaflow

Hey I have 03 6mt coupe and i was pretty decided on getting the new Borlas but now i'm reading about droning and how the cabin is really loud. I haven't heard much about the Magnaflow or how it sounds. The prices for the 2 exhausts are pretty close on planetperformance.com ( the magnaflows about 50$ more). Does anyone have a soundclip of the magna flow? Also how much does the resonator from borla cost? thanks

All new borla kits come with the resonance fixed from the factory, all old kits get the fix for free. I would go borla personally.

i got an email from planetperformance saying that my borla will ship the week of march 22nd. I'm not sure if they mean from borla to them, or from them to me, but its shipping somehwere that week

I got that same letter from Planet Performance. It means thats when it's shipping to you because I got mine only a couple days after getting that e-mail.

Brex- How did Kari's car sound like from the outside, any difference from ours without a resonater?

When we rev up at neutral.. there is slightly deep throaty tone to it.. but its quickly gone after 3k rpm i think.. after that is very similiar to stock..

when driving.. I don't know cuz all I can hear at WOT is the intake..

I am anxious to see how it works with my v2.. hohohohohoh.. gonna be a fun week..

nice. . im excited to hear how this thing is going to sound, i wanted it to definitely sound deeper and maybe a tad louder than stock. .sounds like i need to wait just about three weeks until i have it on my car. I wonder if its possible to take that new resonater out. Or was it just too annoying w/the resonating?

I'd go with Borla and I think the droning was on the autos and not the 6speeds anyway.

It can be annoying without the resoanator. The cool thing from buying mine early is that I get to have both, one with a resonator and the same one without one so I can switch back and forth to whatever suits my taste.

Just give him address of B&M!
Ya... I also know pretty well with them now (except the 2nd shortest guy there) after going there like 4 times to have the sound I wanted on my car. Btw, Jesus is off on Tuesdays. Don't forget

That's it? "Very nice?" Tell us more...is there droning inside the cabin? If someone is sitting in the back, will they be bothered by the sound? I'm contemplating on whether or not I should get Comptech springs & sways first then go exhaust or get exhaust then suspension later. I have about $700 to spend. Or should I just get a JLAudio sub and Alpine amp? Decisions...decisions...
