Drag day

So i scheduled myself off from work today to go to the track to just get some reps in... Im not new to the track but still new to the track with the TL.... Anyways long story short i have a modded 04 TL 6mt and my times today was [email protected] The times i dont care so much about however I was kind of aiming for a 102mph trap i guess weight kills lmao.

I will post pics of all my slips later.. They range from 15.8 (mis shift and wasnt allowed to fully stage) to the claimed 14.24.. Im not all disappointed but the car really feels like a 13.7 car... Ran my friends mazda speed 3 who was trapping 102 on the way home and from 2nd to mid 4th had him by half a fender.. My best 60' was 2.338..

Sonnick look at the 2nd.&3rd.time slip 14:91 deep 60ft.2646-98mph
14:24 shallow 60ft.2338-100.34mph.You have to be on your game every time you stage the car.
Grand hustle i know you want to go 102 mph trap speed. But you have to go faster then 14.00 check with Sonnick.
Good luck.

The fun in launching a FWD car. Think Sonnick and ET have it pretty much down. Myself, I need a lot of work on my 2.3's

i was cutting 2.0s-2.1s in my accord when i ran mid to high 13s @ ~230whp mustang dyno numbers. Then i switched tire size(wider and shorter) and added about 40-50whp. traction has since become an issue.

check out some rx8/rx7 rims. Should let you sport up to [email protected] and either stock size or an inch under.

Unfortunately finding tires at 16 in a lower height/width is hard for anything less than race. Proxes are the only other option...

Should alleviate your traction issues.

I'm curious what the ID is on that? Only because some other Chinese junk pipes had bigger ids than the jpipes on the market

Same as all the others... 2.25- 2.5 collectors.. And you meant had smaller ID's? Lol.. If it was bigger then the "junk" would be better lol

For the 3G TL you need to do a slight bit of cutting... Well just cutting plastic that is... Gotta cut the little splash shield thing under the bottom... I dont even know whats its purpose lmao... (if it is a splash shield lmao)
