What to do next

So I've had my 7th Gen V6 6MT for 160,000 and have done AEM CAI, cat-back exhaust, deleted 3rd cat, Richie V6 Jpipe and some minor suspension and cosmetic stuff (blacked out front end, I probably get more acknowledgement about that tiny cosmetic thing because the "H" badge is usually freakin' huge lol).

I'm in the mood to do some more work, but $ is an issue (meaning it's not unlimited lol have a 23-month old).

I know the advantages to most of the mods. I guess I'm looking for advice on what to do next strictly for power. I'd love to go Hondata (had their very first batch of reprogrammed ECUs on the RSX-S years ago) but it seems like it's a bit outside my budget. I'm already upgrading the brakes, lines, pads, etc...but I don't know, with my mods am I going to be best to do the 3.7 IM and TB, PCDs, underdrive pulley????

Sorry I've been digging around as much as possible and am researching but really wanted some feedback. Thanks!

id say either PCD or HFPC depending on how sensitive you are to rasp. the 3.7 IM,ZDX TB and IM spacer can be had for around $700. (i just purchased all these parts). you can go for PNP of all the intake parts along w runners to make the most out of the setup and only have to do it once but its gona prob run $300-400 more.

both would be preferable over hondata. i had this same question and was told by many to max the bolt ons before going hondata.

I just put on HFPC to complete my exhaust setup and im loving them, butt dyno feels it for sure in first through third, with virtually no rasp increase (im picky about exhaust tone). you could always go after a TLS front and rear sway combo, and the check valve in ur slave is free to delete so get that sucker outa there.

the NRG touque damper is nice but not for everyone.

dunno if this helped you or made more questions haha

J32a3 swap . You can get a decent one for usually $400-$600. Direct drop in... that or hondata. What I really want now is the 3.94 final drive....but so damn expensive

PCDs or HFPCs for sure; the latter if you are worried about rasp. That will really open up your top end.

Especially with your mileage, PCDs or HFPCs first. Then I would do a proper compression and leakdown test to get a real good idea as to the health of the higher milage engine, if not on spec then start looking at J32 or J35 engines.

Honda just announced US won't get type r till 2018 or 2019. Even then it won't sell well. I don't know anyone in the US besides myself who would pay 40 grand for a fwd car. Muricans hate fwd. The focus rs should do well though.
